This artwork was made at the 2023 Chinese New Year Festival in Denpasar-Bali.
Chindo (Chinese-Indo) has really long stories about their spiritual culture in Indonesia it would take more than 50 years for Chinese people who stay and live in Indonesia since their ancestors who decided to be Indonesian a hundred years ago to recognizing by the government in their social life, on 2013 Indonesian President declared to accept them legally in our society including their religion and culture. it is already 10 years ago but somehow icha just realize while she making this live sketch, there are still so many people who did not know about Chinese Culture. those moments made this artwork more special for her.
